Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer

What You’ll Do

Be the first full-time engineer on our team and have a seat at the decision-making table!

NeuroNav is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help us build tools that empower people to make decisions about their care. You will partner with our CEO and Head of Product to build out our proprietary database, strategize about which tools will best address our technical needs, and collaborate with an overseas team of engineers to turn vision into reality.

Your core areas of responsibility will include:


  • Create and execute the technical architecture and approach

  • Define long-term release plans and development roadmaps

  • Produce scalable/high-performance code on both the frontend and backend

  • Create software features that are robust, reliable, and user-friendly for both internal teams and our customer base

  • Own end-to-end implementation of projects

  • Define longer-term release plans and development roadmaps

  • Define and build development process to ensure high development velocity, growth, and release predictability

  • Maintain and optimize iteration cycles in the face of increasing scale and complexity

  • Provide managerial and leadership support to enable engineering team

  • Provide feedback to engineers in design, architecture, development, and quality

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to take new ideas from inception to market

Your Background 

  • 5+ years of full-stack production level coding (must have)

  • 2+ years experience managing engineers (nice to have)

  • Proven track record of timely product releases with high quality

  • Passion and excitement for NeuroNav’s mission

  • Empathetic, patient, non-judgmental, and genuine

  • Preferred Experience in:

    • Building scalable applications

    • Defining technical architecture

    • Working with external developers

    • Working with multiple development processes

    • The full software development lifecycle

    • At an early stage start-up (Series B or earlier)

    • In the healthcare industry

    • React Native or mobile development

    • Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Working with accessibility

    • With the developmental disability community

    • Familiarity with cloud deployed software

    • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to articulate requirements

    • Strong communication skills

Position Type, Salary, & Schedule

This is a full-time position​

$160k-$190k depending on experience + equity
