What We’re Looking For


NeuroNav is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to help us build tools that empower people to make decisions about their care. You will partner with our CPO and our TPM to build out our proprietary database, strategize about which tools will best address our technical needs, and collaborate with an overseas team of engineers to turn vision into reality. The ideal candidate can effectively problem solve, execute on ideas, and plan strategically for scale as we evolve. Essential Functions

  • You’ll ship product. As part of our team, you’ll move fast. Building solid user experiences, wiring up real-time interactions, and pushing out bug-fixes are all “part of the job”. Writing clean and efficient code that helps not only you -- but the entire team -- deliver real value fast.

  • You’ll contribute to many areas. You’ll not only work with product, design, and engineering, you’ll contribute to product, design, engineering and architecture for all our customer experiences.

  • You’ll grow and improve. You’ll be working with some top-notch people who all love to teach and learn. You’ll find yourself both teaching and learning, giving feedback and leading. Challenge your team as they challenge you. We all improve ourselves on a daily basis.

  • You’ll apply research, analytics, and intuition to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, prototype, iterate and launch

Your Background 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience

  • 3+ years of industry experience (non internship)

  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript

  • Application architecture and design patterns

  • Experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

  • Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications

  • Analyzing information, and problem solving using teamwork

  • The Initiative to identify a problem, and take ownership over crafting a solution

Position Type, Salary, & Schedule

This is a full-time position​

Competitive salary + equity

 

The work schedule for this position is generally Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm (PT) with occasional work on evenings and weekends.
